3 Terrace Layout Concepts
Budget: €30 – €50 EUR
I have a 130 sqm rooftop terrace (13 m × 10 m). The only solid edge is the NORTH wall, which holds two access doors; the other three sides are open with a railing. I want to attach a 30 sqm pergola to that wall and need three alternative ways to organise the whole area.
My taste leans strongly toward a clean, modern look, and the primary goal is to create a private, relaxing haven rather than a party zone. Under each option please show how the pergola, furniture, planters/greenery and any feature lighting would flow together to maximise comfort and views.
What I will hand over:
• the official 2D floor plan in PDF/DWG so you can work to exact sizes and door positions.
What I expect back:
• three distinct layout concepts, each either in clear 2D or a simple SketchUp/3D view—whichever you find fastest—to illustrate zoning, circulation, and furnishing.
• brief notes on materials or plant types where they matter to the layout.
• files in PDF (plus source if native software is convenient for you).
There is no rush on delivery, so you can refine the ideas without pressure, but the solutions should stay budget-friendly and buildable. If anything is unclear, just ask—happy to clarify dimensions or access.
