The task is to produce a full thermal-and-mechanical design package for a gasketed plate heat exchanger that will operate in a sugar-processing environment. The unit must be straightforward to pull apart for cleaning, while its plate pattern, gasket layout, and channel geometry must actively minimise fouling from high-brix liquor.

Key performance expectations
• Duty: I will supply flow rates, temperatures, and allowable pressure drops once the project opens.
• Construction: configuration, plate thickness, chevron angle, gasket compound, frame dimensions, tightening bolts, nozzle sizes, and pass arrangement sized for CIP access.
• Reliability: material and surface-finish choices that balance corrosion protection with easy hose-down cleaning.
• Documentation: full thermal rating sheet, pressure-drop calculations, 2-D drawings (STEP/DWG) and a bill of materials ready for procurement.

Acceptance will be based on:
1. Thermal calculations matching the duty within ±2 % heat balance.
2. Surface shear rate and plate gap values that meet the fouling-factor limits I will provide.
3. Drawings that show clearances for plate removal and compliance with ASME or TEMA mechanical criteria.

Typical tools on my side are HTRI, Aspen EDR, and SolidWorks; if you use other software, include the native files plus neutral formats.

I will be available to answer duty-parameter questions promptly so you can iterate the model and lock down the final design.
