Residential Structural Takeoffs Needed
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a set of residential drawings ready and need a precise structural takeoff so I can move straight into ordering material and locking-in subcontractor pricing.
All plans (PDF) are cleaned, clearly scaled, and include foundation, framing, and roof details. Your job is to extract every structural quantity—concrete, rebar, beams, joists, sheathing, connectors, hardware—into an editable spreadsheet or a native takeoff file (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar). Accuracy and traceability are critical, so I expect your output to show the underlying measurements or marked-up plan pages that back up your numbers.
When you respond, attach a concise proposal that explains:
• the workflow and software you will use,
• how you handle checks for scale and overlap,
• a sample of a previous residential structural takeoff (project name and prices redacted are fine),
• the turnaround time you can commit to once I upload the files.
I’ll share the drawings and required template with the selected freelancer and will be available for quick clarifications during the takeoff.
