Residential Renovation Extension Plans
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I’m planning a residential home renovation focused on a small-scale extension and need an architect who can translate my ideas into clear, build-ready concept drawings.
Scope
• Deliver a basic set of schematic floor plans and exterior elevations that incorporate the new extension into the existing structure.
• Provide simple 2D drawings in PDF plus an editable CAD file (DWG or similar) so I can share them with council and builders for initial quotes.
• Allow one round of minor revisions after I review the first draft.
Context & Preferences
This is a home renovation rather than a new build, and the priority is the extension. If kitchen or living-room tweaks become necessary, I’ll discuss them as a follow-on task, but they’re not required in this brief.
What I provide
Room measurements, photos, and a rough sketch of the desired layout.
What I need from you
A concise set of architectural plans that respect local residential building codes, maximise natural light, and tie visually into the current façade.
If you’ve handled similar residential remodels before, especially where space is tight, I’d love to see a sample.
