Residential Plumbing Construction Drawings
Budget: $30 – $250 NZD
I’m ready to move a residential build from concept to actual install and need a skilled mechanical / piping draftsman to prepare full construction-ready drawings for the plumbing system, complete with pipe class information.
Scope
You’ll take my architectural floor plans and transform them into precise plumbing layouts that a contractor can put straight on site. Using the engineering data you provided:
Hydrant Assembly Detail
Valve Detail
Thrust Block Detail
Trench Section Detail
Pipe Class Diagram
Material Specs Sheet
Notes Sheet.No HVAC or fire protection is required—this package is strictly for the water supply, hot-cold distribution, waste, and vent lines. Every sheet must be accurate enough for permit submission and on-site fabrication.
Preferred workflow
AutoCAD, Revit, or Plant 3D are all fine as long as the final files are clean and editable. PDF plots must accompany the native files.
Deliverables (construction-ready)
• Coordinated plan, section, and elevation sheets for each floor
• Isometric diagrams with pipe class, sizes, and material specs noted
• Fixture connection details and scheduled counts
• Bill of materials / take-off table
• One round of revisions after my initial review
Acceptance
Drawings must match the architectural grid, comply with local code (I’ll supply the jurisdictional requirements), and list every pipe class exactly as specified. If a licensed engineer’s title block is needed, leave space for the stamp.
