2D/3D Residential Landscape Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Landscape Designer (2D + 3D) – Residential Projects (Australia)
Overview
We’re looking for a landscape designer who can produce high-quality, well-resolved residential designs — not just concepts, but layouts that actually work on real sites.
This is project-based work with consistent opportunities for the right designer.
What You’ll Be Doing
- 2D plans (CAD)
- 3D modelling (SketchUp or similar)
- Rendered perspectives (Lumion or equivalent)
- Designs must consider levels, access, spacing, usability, and planting — not just visuals.
- Design Standard (Important)
- We’re not looking for basic or generic designs.
Strong designers will:
- Create layouts with clear structure and flow
- Use detail to add interest without making designs feel busy
Balance:
- Surfaces (materials, lines, form)
- Planting (selection, grouping, composition)
- Features (furniture, focal elements)
There’s a clear difference between average work and high-level design — we’re looking for the latter.
Practical Thinking (Equally Important)
Designs must:
- Work on real sites (levels, slopes, usable spaces)
- Be logically laid out and functional
- Reflect realistic plant spacing and growth
- Be clear enough for a builder/landscaper to interpret
Software
AutoCAD (or similar)
SketchUp (or similar)
Lumion (or equivalent)
Workflow
Full brief provided (plans, photos, notes)
Typical turnaround: ~6–8 days
Deliverables: 2D plan + 3D + 6–12 renders
Revisions may be required
Payment
~USD $200 per standard project (scope dependent)
Trial
A paid trial project is required. This is the quickest way to assess design quality and fit.
How to Apply
Submit your portfolio including:
- 2D plans
- 3D models
- Rendered images
- Strong portfolios stand out immediately.
