run a small interior design studio in Prahran, Melbourne, and I’m seeking a reliable drafter to assist on a casual, project-by-project basis. Workload will vary—some weeks may involve a few days of work, while others may require no time commitment.

This role is suited to someone Melbourne-based, as I prefer an initial face-to-face working relationship, with flexibility for a hybrid arrangement thereafter.

All work is residential, and documentation must meet domestic construction standards. Your primary role will be to translate concept sketches into fully resolved joinery drawings across kitchens, living areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms.

Drawing sets must be clear and comprehensive—plans, elevations, sections, and detailed call-outs (materials, hardware, finishes, clearances)—ready for cabinet-makers and builders.

Occasionally, I may also require documentation of broader interior elements, such as floor plans, RCPs, or minor wall reconfigurations.

Deliverables
• DWG and PDF drawing sets for tender and fabrication
• Schedules and legends where required
• Prompt revisions through to final issue
