Residential Floor & Furniture Plan
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m looking for a designer who can develop a clear, build-ready layout for a residential floor that covers the living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms. Along with the scaled floor plan, I also need matching custom-furniture details, a precise cutting list and an accessories schedule so the carpenter and installer can start work without guesswork. I have a furniture layout in archicad, we only need to make it better
Scope of work
• Produce a clean 2D layout showing room dimensions, wall positions and traffic flow.
• Design fitted and free-standing furniture for every included space, keeping practicality and style in mind.
• Generate a cutting list that specifies board sizes, edge treatments and hardware holes for each furniture piece.
• List all required accessories (hinges, runners, pulls, fasteners, etc.) with quantities and preferred brands or equivalents.
• Supply files in PDF for printing and an editable format (DWG, SketchUp, or similar) for future tweaks.
What will set your proposal apart is clarity of drawings, accuracy of measurements and a furniture bill of materials that a workshop can follow straight away. If you have examples of previous residential layouts or furniture cut sheets, please share them so I can gauge fit.
