Residential Elevation AutoCAD Drafting
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m ready to commission a set of exterior elevation drawings for a residential project. You’ll be working from an existing 2D floor plan that already shows all room dimensions, so the brief is focused solely on translating those metrics into clear, accurate elevations—front, rear, and both sides.
What I need from you
• A fully annotated DWG created in AutoCAD (2021-compatible preferred) with tidy layer management for walls, openings, levels, and materials.
• PDF plots at A2 size and a pair of high-resolution PNGs suitable for client presentations.
Scope & key points
The building is residential, so proportion, roof pitch, window and door placement, sill and lintel heights must match the provided dimensions exactly. No furniture, MEP, or electrical information is required—just the architectural envelope. Material callouts where visible (e.g., brick, render, tile) should be indicated with standard hatching.
Workflow
I’ll supply the reference floor plan and critical heights as soon as we start. You’ll return a preliminary DWG/PDF so I can spot-check heights and alignments. After my single round of comments, you’ll issue the final files. I’m aiming for a three-day turnaround once you receive the base data.
Acceptance criteria
• All elevations align with the supplied room dimensions.
• Layers are logically named and purged of excess.
• Final PDFs plot cleanly at scale 1:100 without broken line weights.
I’m online daily to clarify any datum lines or design tweaks and look forward to seeing your precise, professional draft.
