Redesign My Home Floor Plan
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I already have the existing floor plan in PDF along with a full set of reference photos of the house. What I need now is a fresh, accurate drawing that reflects our updated requirements.
Key changes
• The internal lift shown on the current plan has to be completely removed, together with any associated shafts or voids.
• Please adjust adjoining walls and circulation space so the area feels more open; any gained square footage should flow naturally into the living zone.
• If the lift removal affects structural elements, propose a simple alternative (e.g., storage niche or extended hallway) that keeps costs realistic.
Deliverables
1. Updated 2D floor plan (DWG + PDF) showing all revised dimensions and room labels.
2. A second PDF layer or colour-coded overlay highlighting every modification made from the original.
3. Source file compatible with AutoCAD or a similar mainstream CAD package so future edits are easy.
Acceptance criteria
• All dimensions match the original drawing except where changes are clearly marked.
• Lift is absent and any leftover voids are repurposed logically.
• File opens error-free in AutoCAD 2018 or newer.
