Raised Deck Framing Plans
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m building a raised deck and need a concise set of permit-ready documents.
Here’s what I’m after:
• 2D framing and rail drawings that clearly show joist layout, beam sizing, post placement, and connection details.
• Technical schematics and structural calculations that verify span, load, and lateral resistance.
Key design notes you must incorporate:
• Lateral support provided by 2x6 V-bracing fastened with TimberLOK screws to the joists.
• Single flush glulam beam resting on two post bases, each anchored to an existing concrete slab.
• Decking: composite surface.
• Rail: 42"-high stainless-steel system.
• Framing lumber: pressure-treated wood (with glulam where noted).
Keep the package tight and focused—clean line work, readable call-outs, and calculations that a local inspector can follow easily. I only need the essential sheets (plan, elevations/sections, connection details, and calculation summary) in PDF and the source CAD file.
