Post-Renovation As-Built Villa Plans
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
I have just finished renovating my single-storey villa and now need a full set of accurate “as-built” drawings for my own records. Because the existing concept plans no longer match reality, the very first step will be for you to come to the property, take all critical measurements and double-check anything that might have shifted during construction.
Scope of measurement
• Exterior footprint of the villa, including wall thicknesses and overall dimensions.
• Internal spaces, with particular attention to the kitchen (cabinet runs, benchtop lengths, appliance niches and clearances).
• Locations of all power points and light fittings; I do not need a separate electrical schematic, just their symbols on the plans.
• Plot position: boundaries, setbacks and any hard-landscape elements needed to place the villa correctly on the lot.
Drawings to deliver
1. Scaled floor plan showing walls, openings, key levels, major kitchen fixtures and the above-mentioned electrical outlets/lights.
2. At least two exterior elevations (more if needed for clarity), fully dimensioned.
3. A plot plan situating the building within the current landholding, with north arrow and basic site dimensions.
Preferred output is digital CAD (DWG or similar) plus a PDF set I can print. Title blocks can remain simple—these drawings are strictly for owner reference and not for authority submission—so speed and accuracy outweigh presentation flair.
If you need any of the earlier concept PDFs or construction photos to prepare, let me know and I will forward them. Once on-site work is complete, I’d like the finished files within ten days.
