Point Cloud Elevation Drawings
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I already have a registered point-cloud of an existing building and need it translated into clean, accurate 2D elevation drawings. You will be working directly from the scan data (available in .RCP and .E57; I can export .PTS/.LAS if that suits your workflow) to produce shop-ready CAD files.
Scope
• Extract the geometry from the cloud and generate true-to-scale elevations.
• Organise layers logically—walls, openings, structural elements, annotations, and dimensions—so the file is easy to edit later.
• Supply the final deliverables in DWG (AutoCAD 2018 or newer) and a plotted PDF sheet set.
Accuracy & workflow
The drawings must reflect the point-cloud within normal survey tolerances; if you use ReCap, CloudCompare, or similar tools, please keep the native files so revisions can be made quickly. I’m happy to provide any reference photos that might help clarify details not evident in the scan.
