Point Cloud to AutoCAD Drawings
Budget: £18 – £36 GBP
I have a steady flow of residential RCP point-cloud files that need to be turned into clean, accurate 2D documentation. Using AutoCAD (with Autodesk ReCap for initial registration, if that fits your workflow), you will extract the geometry and draft fully coordinated plans, sections, and elevations. All sheets must follow the client-provided template—layer naming, line weights, title blocks, and annotation styles are already defined, so consistency is crucial.
Here’s how I like the process to run:
• You receive the RCP file, a reference photo set, and my template DWG.
• Within the agreed timeframe you return separate DWG files for the plan, each required section, and each elevation, already placed in paperspace layouts ready to plot.
• Key dimensions, room names, and basic levels should be included; I handle any detailed schedules later.
Because this is ongoing work, speed and reliability matter as much as drafting skill. If you are comfortable handling large point clouds, can keep file sizes manageable, and are available for regular weekly assignments, let’s get started.
