Plant Layout CAD Drafting

I have a clear, high-resolution top-view image of an industrial plant layout and need it recreated in AutoCAD, then complemented with a corresponding front view. The drawing must be a faithful translation of the original image, placed to scale and presented as a detailed layout with precise measurements.

I will hand over the reference image together with any dimensions already known; the remaining dimensions should be derived proportionally so that both views line up perfectly in model space. Please include full dimensioning, clear leader notes, and call-outs where equipment, walkways, and structural elements appear.

While I do not have a predefined layer or colour convention, I’d like you to recommend a logical layer structure—perhaps separating structural steel, piping, equipment outlines, text, and dimensions—using standard colour-by-layer practice so the file is easy to read and edit later.

Detailed annotations are required. Label all major equipment, centre-lines, grid references, and any critical clearance notes. Feel free to suggest additional notes you believe will aid fabrication or review.

Deliverables (DWG format)
• Top view exactly matching the supplied image, fully dimensioned and annotated
• Front view aligned to the top view, equally detailed
• A clean, organised layer scheme with colour assignment legend
• PDF plot of both views for quick reference

Use standard AutoCAD 2020+ commands; no plug-ins are necessary. Accuracy and clear drafting conventions are paramount, so only bid if you are comfortable working precisely from reference imagery and can turn this around quickly.
