UK Pergola Planning Drawings

I’m submitting a planning application to my local UK council for a pergola that will serve as a car-port on the driveway, and I need three clear, scaled drawings to accompany the paperwork. I already have reference photos and rough sketches you can work from; what I need from you is the professional polish and precision a planner expects.

The council asks for a 1 : 50 scale, so each sheet must follow that standard and show accurate basic dimensions as well as a clean structural outline. Material or colour notes only need to appear if the officer insists on them, so please leave those as optional call-outs that can be switched on or off.

Deliverables

• Side elevation at 1 : 50
• Top (plan) view at 1 : 50
• Final PDF set suitable for direct upload to the council portal
• Editable source files in CAD/DWG so I can make minor tweaks later if needed
