Patent-Ready Rodent Deterrent CAD

Job ID: 40512536

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

I have a working concept for an outdoor metal device that passively deters rodents—no springs, latches, or any other moving parts. The idea is functionally proven; what I need now is a professional set of CAD drawings and a few thoughtful refinements so the design is ready for a patent application and, ultimately, fabrication.

Here’s the scope:

• Review my sketch and short write-up, challenge any weak spots, and suggest tweaks that strengthen performance while keeping the device 100 % motion-free.
• Create full-scale 3D CAD (STEP or SolidWorks preferred; DXF/DWG for 2D) with clear dimensions, sectional views, and call-outs that meet USPTO drawing conventions.
• Provide manufacturing notes (material gauge, welding or fastening points, surface finish) suited to outdoor use in metal.
• Supply a concise design-rationale sheet I can reference in the patent specification.

Acceptance criteria
1. Drawings import cleanly into SolidWorks/Fusion 360 without errors.
2. Every component is dimensioned; no ambiguity on tolerances critical to fit or rodent exclusion.
3. PDF patent sheets are black-and-white line art, lettering ≥ 0.32 cm, margins intact.

If you regularly work on mechanical IP filings and can turn feedback quickly, let’s get started—I’m ready to share the concept the moment we agree on the approach.
