Overlay Sewer Lines onto CAD
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I have 3 files. A survey layout (pdf file), My house plans already are drawn in AutoCAD (DWG), and i have a sewer layout (Pdf file)
Deliverables : There are three tasks that are required:
1) Convert the surveyors plan to autocad, provide DWG file
1) Overlay the sewer diagram onto the Da plans, provide DWG file
2) Overlay the sewer diagram onto the surveyors plan, provide DWG file
Here’s how I picture the workflow:
Import the Da Plans (192 LowerFortSt_DA_250515.dwg) into Autocad. Delete all of the internal artefacts, leaving only the boundary of the property. Confirm and scale with the Surveyors plan. Using the drawing’s coordinate system, then trace or convert the sewer network into clean CAD geometry. Please keep the sewer data on its own layer, colour-coded and line-typed distinctly so I can toggle it on and off without confusion. The end goal is true vector lines in each file i can edit.
These must be to scale per the surveyors diagram, 1:100 and A3 sized.
I’ll supply the original DWG and the sewer PDF as soon as we start; everything is in metric units. Accuracy is important—please align within a few millimetres of true scale. Let me know your typical turnaround and any questions before we kick off.
