I’m ready to overhaul the current production-line arrangement in my factory and need a lean layout that measurably improves workflow. You’ll be working with an existing floor plan and real-world cycle-time data; the aim is to strip away every unnecessary movement or bottleneck so materials, people and information move in one smooth, continuous flow.

I will provide the present layout, process sequence charts and takt-time figures. Your task is to analyse them, propose a revised configuration grounded in lean principles and illustrate how each change removes waste and shortens travel paths. A concise justification for every repositioned machine, workstation or buffer is essential so I can make the case internally.

I’m most interested in someone who has done this before in live manufacturing settings—please highlight projects where your layout redesign notably cut change-over time, balanced lines or freed up floor space. If you can add value with spaghetti diagrams, 2D/3D CAD visualisations or simulation models, let me know; however, the core deliverable is a clear, actionable layout drawing with supporting rationale.
