Museum Staircase & Lift Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I want to examine three distinct ways of inserting a new staircase and lift wholly inside my museum so the building finally meets modern accessibility standards and doubles as a reliable emergency escape route. You will start from the drawings I supply and develop three independent design scenarios, showing how each option ties into the existing structure, galleries and service zones.
For every scenario I need a full set of 2D plans and sections drafted in AutoCAD, plus a matching 3D model produced either in AutoCAD 3D or SketchUp—use whichever platform lets you work fastest, as long as the geometry is clean and layers are tidy. All plans must be fully dimensioned and annotated so our engineering team can drop them straight into their calculations.
Deliverables
• Three clearly labelled scenario folders
• In each folder: DWG plans, DWG sections, and a 3D DWG or SKP file
• Models coordinated with floor heights, existing walls and ceiling clearances
• Accessibility and fire-escape notes called out on the sheets
