Modify an Existing Single-Storey Floor Plan
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
Single-Storey Floor Plan Redesign
I’m looking for an experienced draftsperson or residential building designer to modify an existing single-storey floor plan for my first home in Melbourne, VIC.
Project Overview
• Lot: 638 sqm rectangular, north-facing corner block
• Site condition: Retaining wall located toward the rear on the corner side
• Current documentation: I have a full floor plan draft with complete internal room measurements, all wall lengths, external dimensions, and overall building footprint. I also have the siting sketch for the lot
Scope of Work
• Taking the current floor plan as a reference, draft a new floor plan incorporating the changes I have in mind, while maintaining the same level of detailed measurements (all internal dimensions, wall lengths, and external footprint clearly documented)
• Adjust total built-up area to target approximately 32–33.5 squares (approx. 297–311 sqm)
• Ensure every wall, offset, and internal dimension is accurate and clearly documented
• Ensure the updated design complies with Australian Building Standards and relevant Victorian regulations
Deliverables
• Updated floor plan in PDF format (high resolution, suitable for printing at A3/A2)
• The original source file (e.g., .DWG, .RVT, or .SKP)
Timeline
• I require the updated floor plan completed by the end of the day 15th Feb.
I will provide the current floor plan and detailed change requirements once assigned.
