Modern Efficient Apartment Layout

I’m updating the entire layout of my residential apartment and need a modern, efficient 2-D floor plan redesign to guide upcoming construction decisions.
The goal is to reorganize room placement, traffic flow, and furniture zones while maximizing natural light and keeping structural changes minimal.

Scope
• Redraw the current apartment layout in a clean, professional CAD format.
• Propose a modern configuration for each area—kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedrooms—indicating any walls to remove or add, doorway adjustments, and storage improvements.
• Include accurate room dimensions and a simple legend for key fixtures and furniture.
• Ensure the layout creates:
- Master bedroom
- Two kids’ bedrooms
- Living room
- Dedicated home-office space (preferably with natural light or an alternate light source)

Existing Layout & Notes
The current apartment layout (from left to right, top to bottom) is:
Living room, bedroom, bedroom, balcony, bedroom, hallway, bathroom/toilet, kitchen.
All walls are structural, except the one between the two bedrooms on the top row (right and center), which can be modified.

We’d like the redesign to:
- Preserve as much of the structural layout as possible.
- Maximize usable space for the master bedroom, kids’ rooms, and living area.
- Include a separate home office for quiet work, isolated from kids’ activity zones.
- Integrate a few existing furniture pieces, mainly from the living room.

Deliverables
• One revised floor plan (PDF + editable DWG or similar) suitable for contractor review.
• Up to one round of minor adjustments after the initial draft.

Tools
AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp are all acceptable, as long as the final output meets the file format requirements.
