Description:
I am ooking to hire a rchitect (or formally qualified architectural professional) to produce modern, clean, and construction-ready 2D architectural drawings for an upcoming project.
This role requires more than just drafting skills—we need someone who understands architectural standards, building codes, and design intent. The ideal candidate will combine technical precision with design sensitivity to deliver high-quality 2D drawings suitable for permitting and construction.
Scope of Work:
Architectural floor plans
Elevations and sections
Basic site plans (if needed)
Detailed annotations, material notations, dimensions
Coordination for code compliance and layout logic
Revisions as needed based on client or regulatory feedback
Final deliverables in DWG and PDF
Requirements:
Must be a licensed architect or hold an accredited architectural degree
Proficiency in 2D drafting using AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent
Strong portfolio of built or permitted projects
Understanding of local/regional building codes (please specify your jurisdiction)
Excellent communication and reliability
Able to work independently and meet deadlines
Bonus Points For:
Experience with residential, small commercial, or renovation projects
Familiarity with planning/permitting processes
BIM experience (even if this role is 2D focused)
