Technical Drawing & Documentation Project for Miniature Model Kits

Hello,

We are looking for a reliable long-term partner to help us document and recreate miniature model kits. We will provide the model kit free of charge for each project.

About the Kits

The products we work with are hobby kits commonly known as DIY Miniature Houses, Miniature Rooms, and Book Nooks.

These kits allow customers to assemble detailed miniature scenes using the components included in the box.

A typical kit contains:

* Laser-cut wooden parts
* Small plastic accessories
* Printed paper graphics
* Fabric and decorative materials
* LED lighting components
* Wires and battery holders
* Assembly instructions

The final product is usually a miniature house, room, café, library, bookstore, street scene, or similar decorative display.

Most of the components are relatively simple. The wooden parts are generally basic 2D laser-cut pieces, while the plastic components are usually small decorative objects with simple geometries. These are not complex mechanical or engineering products.

Scope of Work

For each kit, we would like you to complete the following tasks:

1. Wooden Parts Documentation

Measure and recreate all wooden parts as accurate 2D vector drawings suitable for laser cutting and manufacturing.

2. Plastic Parts Documentation

Measure and recreate all plastic parts as accurate 3D models suitable for manufacturing.

3. Instruction Manual Scanning

Scan the assembly manual included in the kit and provide a clear PDF version.

4. Product Photography

Take clear, organized, high-resolution photographs of:

* Complete kit contents
* Wooden sheets and wooden parts
* Plastic components
* Printed paper accessories
* LED and electronic components
* Decorative accessories
* Any additional parts included in the kit

5. File Organization

Please organize all files in a clear folder structure before delivery.

Expected Deliverables

The final package should include:

Folder 1 – Wooden Parts

* 2D drawings of all wooden components
* Original editable files
* Exported manufacturing files

Folder 2 – Plastic Parts

* 3D models of all plastic components
* Original editable files
* Exported manufacturing files

Folder 3 – Instruction Manual

* Scanned PDF of the assembly manual

Folder 4 – Reference Photos

* High-resolution photos of all kit contents
* Detailed close-up photos where necessary

Folder 5 – Notes

* Measurements
* Missing parts (if any)
* Observations or comments

We regularly purchase new miniature house, miniature room, DIY craft, and book nook kits and will continue sending projects on an ongoing basis.
