2D & 3D Mechanical Drafting

I need a skilled mechanical drafter to translate several machine-part concepts into clear, fabrication-ready drawings. The work will be done entirely in AutoCAD, delivering both precise 2D layouts and matching 3D models.

Scope
• Produce detailed 2D manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances, section views, and call-outs for every critical feature.
• Create fully constrained 3D models that reflect the 2D documentation.
• Supply native DWG files plus neutral formats (PDF for prints, STEP/IGES if available) so my machinist can open them in other platforms.
• Iterate once or twice after my review to correct minor fit or clearance issues.

I will provide hand sketches, reference photos, and key measurements. Your drawings must stay true to those specs and follow standard mechanical drafting conventions.

Ideal Experience
• Strong portfolio of machine-part drawings.
• Deep knowledge of AutoCAD’s 3D workspace, layer control, and annotation tools.
• Familiarity with GD&T is a plus.
