Mechanical Design in Fusion 360
Budget: ₹400 – ₹750 INR
Scope of Work
1. Review & Interpret Requirements
* Understand functional purpose, dimensions, tolerances, and material requirements for each part.
* Evaluate sketches, sample images, or reference components shared by the product team.
2. 2D Drawings
* Create accurate technical 2D engineering drawings (orthographic views, dimensions, tolerances, section views).
* Include necessary annotations, BOMs, and manufacturing notes.
3. 3D Modelling
* Develop parametric 3D models in Autodesk Fusion 360.
* Ensure parts are manufacturing-ready and can integrate with assemblies if needed.
* Apply proper constraints, materials, and design history tracking.
4. Design Validation
* Run interference checks and ensure assemblies align correctly.
* Perform basic motion studies or stress checks if required.
5. Deliverables
* Native Fusion 360 files (.f3d) and exported STEP/IGES formats.
* 2D drawings in DWG/PDF format.
* Short design notes or justification for key dimensions or design choices.

Desired Expertise
• Proven experience in Autodesk Fusion 360 (2D drafting + 3D modeling).
• Knowledge of mechanical design principles — fits, tolerances, GD&T, and DFM best practices.
• Experience in creating production-ready parts (machined, fabricated, or 3D printed).
• Ability to communicate technical details and iterate based on feedback.

• Type: Freelance / Short-term project (per part or per batch basis)
• Location: Physical Presence preferred, but remote can be considered.
• Duration: Typically, 1–3 weeks per part depending on complexity
• Compensation: Based on design complexity and turnaround time
• Collaboration Tools: Autodesk Fusion 360 Cloud, Google Drive, or preferred platform
