We are developing an innovative Soap-Dispensing Silicone Body Scrubber for mass production.
The product consists of multiple plastic and silicone components assembled into a waterproof handheld device with a passive soap dispensing mechanism.

Functional requirements
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Product Design Engineer to convert the concept into a manufacturing-ready CAD design suitable for injection molding and mass production.
This is NOT a rendering or visualization project.
The final design must be ready for tooling and manufacturing.
Project Requirements
The engineer must:
1. Create Complete 3D CAD Design
Design every component including:
Main body housing
Silicone brush head
Silicone bristles
Internal soap chamber
Push plug
Bottom removable cap
Travel cap
Shower holder
All internal ribs
Snap-fit mechanisms
Drainage channels
Waterproof sealing features
2. Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
The product must be optimized for injection molding.
The design should include:
Uniform wall thickness
Proper draft angles
Ribs
Bosses
Snap fits
Injection molding best practices
Mold-friendly geometry
Manufacturing tolerances
Cost optimization
3. Silicone Engineering
Design the silicone components suitable for LSR molding including:
Silicone bristles
Wiper seal
Silicone-to-plastic interface
Bonding recommendations
4. Waterproof Design
Design sealing features to minimize water ingress while maintaining proper drainage and easy cleaning.
5. Assembly Design
Design an assembly that:
Requires minimal parts
Uses snap-fit assembly
Requires no screws
Is easy to manufacture and assemble
6. Engineering Validation
Review the complete design to ensure:
