MDF Wardrobe Cut-List Design
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a full set of exact measurements for a built-in wardrobe and its companion shelves, all to be constructed from MDF. Every shelf inside the wardrobe is fixed, so there’s no need to account for adjustable fittings or pull-outs—just solid, evenly spaced panels.
What I need now is a precise, waste-conscious cut list that tells me how to break down my MDF sheets. Please include:
• A clear table of each part name, finished size, quantity, and any allowance for saw-kerf or edge banding
• Optimised sheet layouts so I can see how the pieces nest and how much board I’ll actually use
• Total material required, rounded sensibly so I know what to buy
I’ll supply the detailed sketches and dimensions the moment we start. Keep the format simple—Excel, PDF, or a neatly annotated drawing is fine—so I can print it and head straight to the workshop. Once the list matches my measurements and looks free of conflicts, I’ll sign it off and release the final milestone.
