Industrial Rear Tow Point Drawings - 01/04/2026 04:00 EDT

I’m ready to move an industrial-grade rear tow point from concept to shop floor and I need clear, production-ready documentation. The component will be fabricated in steel and must satisfy VSB6 Section P, ADR 62 and AS 4100 requirements, so every dimension and call-out has to reflect those standards.

Here is what I’d like in the final package:
• A fully detailed 2-D CAD drawing of the tow point, showing overall geometry, critical load-bearing dimensions and weld symbols that match the referenced codes.
• Separate cutting files (DXF or similar) laid out for laser or plasma profiling, with material thicknesses noted.
• A fabrication drawing that sequences the build, calling up weld sizes, preparation angles and any machining steps.
• A comprehensive bill of materials listing plate grades, profiles, fasteners and finishing notes.

Files should open cleanly in AutoCAD or SolidWorks and print legibly at A3. If anything in the standards appears ambiguous, flag it and we’ll clarify together; compliance is non-negotiable. Once I confirm the drawings replicate the spec and the BOM tallies, the job is complete. I can supply drawings of a different build to provide an outline of what is required.
