Industrial Machinery SolidWorks Fabrication Drawings

I need complete fabrication documentation for several custom pieces of industrial machinery. The job calls for both a fully-defined 3D model and the matching 2D manufacturing drawings. SolidWorks is my preferred platform because I will be integrating the files into an existing vault and ERP system, but if a step in AutoCAD makes life easier on your side we can exchange neutral formats as well.
You will start from hand sketches, reference photos, and basic dimensions that I provide. From there I’m looking for clean, parametric SolidWorks parts and assemblies—including weldments—finished with accurate material specs, hole call-outs, and bend allowances where sheet-metal is involved. Each assembly should be paired with properly detailed 2D prints (DWG or DXF is fine) ready for laser cutting, bending, machining, and welding. Weld symbols, GD&T where critical, and an itemised BOM are required so the shop can move straight to production without clarification.
Deliverables
• Native SolidWorks part and assembly files (.sldprt, .sldasm)
• 2D fabrication drawings with full dimensions, notes, and weld symbols
• STEP/IGES exports for any external vendors who do not use SolidWorks
• A simple BOM in Excel or as a SolidWorks drawing table
I will review against fit, clearances, and drawing completeness before sign-off. If a dimension or tolerance is missing I’ll send feedback and expect a quick turn on revisions, but everything else should be ready for the shop floor the first time.
