Industrial Extension Spring Drawing

I need a precise technical drawing for an extension spring that will be fitted into industrial-machinery assemblies. The spring must reliably handle a medium load while being manufactured from spring steel grade 2.

The drawing has to show every critical dimension—wire diameter, outside diameter, free length, coil count, hook style, and any tolerances—so a tooling shop can proceed straight to production without additional clarification. A simple 2D CAD sheet is fine, but if creating a 3D model speeds up your process or improves clarity, feel free to include it as well (STEP or IGES preferred).

Handing over the native CAD file plus a PDF print is all that’s required. Once I confirm the dimensions and notes match the specifications, the job is done and paid in full.
