House Plans on Paper converted to DWG
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a complete set of paper plans (scanned in as pdf) for a single-family house and I need them reproduced as clean, accurate CAD files. The paper originals include every view of the building, so your job is to translate them into professional 2D drawings that match the originals line-for-line and scale-for-scale.
Here is exactly what I need delivered in DWG format:
• Floor plans for two levels, Foundation Plan, Roof Plan, Site Plan
• Exterior elevations on all sides. Several Interior Elevations. Finish Schedule
• Building sections that align with the plans
• Integrated electrical plans (outlets, switches)
• Integrated plumbing layout (fixtures)
Please organise the DWG with logical, clearly named layers (walls, doors, windows, fixtures, text, dimensions, electrical, plumbing, etc.) so the file is easy to navigate and edit later. Accuracy is key: dimensions must correspond to the paper drawings, and line weights, hatching and symbols should follow standard residential drafting conventions.
If you work in AutoCAD, BricsCAD or an equivalent platform that opens/export DWG natively, this will be straightforward. Let me know your estimated turnaround time and any questions you have about legibility, scaling or annotation before you begin.
Once the DWG set aligns perfectly with the original drawings, the project is complete.
