Home Restyling

Job ID: 40160883

Budget: €30 – €250 EUR

Goal

Develop 2 alternative interior layout proposals starting from the PDF floor plan (scale 1:200), with the aim of creating one additional room (new bedroom / home office), while keeping consistency with the existing style of the house.
After defining the two layout options, produce a fully furnished and colored floor plan for each, matching the attached graphic reference.

1) Base material (Input)

PDF floor plan (scale 1:200) – base drawing to work on.

Graphic reference (furnished + colored floor plan) – style/layout to replicate for 2D presentation.

Real photos of the house – to understand materials, mood, and existing style to be respected.

2) Required outputs (Deliverables)
A. Proposal 1 – “SAFE / minimal intervention”

Goal: create one extra room with minimal changes.

Keep as much as possible:

existing bathrooms and kitchen location (if already present)

main wall layout

building systems and general circulation

Allowed interventions:

create the new room using lightweight partitions (drywall / thin walls)

optimize hallways / corridors

relocate doors where useful

Delivery:

dimensioned / schematic floor plan with new walls highlighted + legend

B. Proposal 2 – “MORE INVASIVE / optimized”

Goal: create one extra room with a more efficient overall layout, allowing more substantial changes.

Possible interventions:

rethink living / dining / kitchen (open space or partially separated)

redesign circulation areas

create new openings/doors and more freely reposition partitions

reduce “passage-only” areas in favor of usable room space

Delivery:

schematic plan with new layout + clear indication of demolished vs. newly built walls

C. Furniture layout + Colored floor plan (for both proposals)

After defining the two layout solutions, produce for each:

Fully furnished floor plan (furniture layout)

Colored floor plan matching the provided reference style:

similar color palette

consistent fills for rooms/materials

clean 2D furniture/symbol style

clear text labels (room names)

Delivery:

2 final presentation boards (SAFE + INVASIVE)

3) Design constraints & criteria

The new room must be realistically usable (not a leftover “cut-out” space):

accessible via a door

suitable dimensions for a single/double bed or a proper home office

natural light if possible (preferred)

Avoid poorly functional solutions (excessively long corridors, awkward unusable rooms).
If the plan includes constraints (columns, structural walls, load-bearing elements), do not demolish them: flag any critical issues.
Bathrooms and kitchen: in the SAFE proposal, keep them unchanged or with minimal adjustments.
Maintain the home’s logic and the style perceived in the photos (materials, atmosphere, spatial character).

4) Graphic / drawing requirements

Clean base drawing, readable lines (consistent lineweights).
Clearly highlight:

new walls

removed walls (only in the invasive proposal)

doors/openings

In the furnished plan:

main furniture elements to scale (bed, wardrobes, kitchen, dining table, sofa)

standard bathroom fixtures (WC, sink, shower/bathtub)

Text labels in Italian:
CAMERA / STUDIO / SOGGIORNO / CUCINA / BAGNO / DISIMPEGNO / INGRESSO, etc.

5) Delivery formats

Final layout PDF (1 page per proposal or 2 pages total)

Editable file (if required): DWG / AI / PSD / PPT or equivalent

Export also in high-resolution PNG/JPG for quick sharing

6) Final checklist (before delivery)

Both proposals include one clear, functional additional room

SAFE proposal makes only the minimum necessary changes

INVASIVE proposal truly optimizes the home (not random wall moves)

Furniture is coherent and correctly scaled

Colored plan matches the reference style

Boards are clear and presentation-ready
