2D Home Plan AutoCAD Conversion
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a fully sketched 2-storey Canadian home plan in PDF that needs to be redrawn from scratch in AutoCAD so it is clean, fully layered, and ready for interior-design work. The goal is to give my design team a precise digital base they can open in AutoCAD 2024 and immediately start playing with furniture placement, finishes, and lighting studies.
Here is what I need from you:
• A DWG file with logical layers for walls, windows, doors, fixtures, furniture, annotations, and dimensions.
• A tidy model space drawn at 1:1 plus two paper-space layouts (metric) set up for printing at 1:50 and 1:100.
• Furniture blocks placed according to the original PDF, using standard Canadian sizes rather than custom dimensions.
• Dimensions, room names, and key notes copied accurately from the scan so nothing is lost in translation.
The PDF contains clear line weights and room labels, so tracing should be straightforward—no guessing about wall thicknesses or opening sizes. I will send the file as soon as we agree to proceed and I expect the finished DWG, a matching PDF plot, and your CTB file for line weight control.
Accuracy is essential; if any measurement looks ambiguous, flag it and I’ll confirm within 12 hours. A quick turnaround is preferred (three days or less), but let me know realistically how long you need.
