Hole-Saw Extension CAD Draft

Job ID: 40086068

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I have designed a custom hole-saw that carries its own arbor on an extended shaft and now need a clean AutoCAD file that my machinist can send straight to the CNC shop for a first-run prototype. The drawing should show the saw cup, the built-in arbor, and the one-piece extension as a single assembly, using general dimensions that leave room for small adjustments on the shop floor (±0.25 mm is fine).

I will supply the core measurements—cup diameter, kerf width, extension length, shank diameter, and the pilot-bit seating depth—once we start. From there, you translate them into a fully detailed 2D layout and, if you wish, a quick 3D view so the fabricator can double-check clearances. Layers, call-outs, and standard drafting conventions expected in an AutoCAD .dwg are all that’s required; a STEP export is a bonus.

The file must be clean, machinist-ready, and accurately show the one-piece construction so the shop can quote and cut without further edits. If that sounds straightforward to you, let’s get this drafted.
