Garage Conversion Outline Drawing Needed
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I’m putting together an initial concept for turning my ground-floor garage and the small bedroom above it into a single, self-contained rental unit. At this stage I only need a clear, scaled outline drawing—something that lets me see layout possibilities and talk through feasibility with my local planning office.
Here is what the sketch must show:
• Ground floor: the existing garage re-imagined as an open living area plus a compact shower room with a wash-basin.
• Staircase: an internal stair linking the former garage to the bedroom above; keep it space-efficient but comfortable.
• Upper floor: the present bedroom adapted into a combined sleeping space and traditional-style kitchenette. The kitchen section should include a sink, generous counter run, and built-in storage cabinets. (If you think a slim appliance nook could work, feel free to indicate it lightly, but it isn’t essential yet.)
Keep the style traditional—simple lines, pitched-roof cues and window proportions that sit well with the existing house. I’m not after full construction details, just an accurate plan, elevation and maybe a quick section that communicates head heights and stair positioning.
Please supply the drawing as a PDF for easy sharing, and, if possible, the editable file (DWG or similar) so I can refine it later.
