Functional Bathroom Layout With Bathtub
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m ready to re-think my bathroom’s footprint so it works better day-to-day. The priority is clear: make room for a proper bathtub and organise the surrounding shower/bath zone so it’s comfortable, code-compliant and easy to maintain. Storage or vanity tweaks are welcome if they naturally follow from the new layout, but the focal point is that tub.
You’ll be working from my existing room dimensions (I’ll share a quick sketch and photos as soon as we start). I’d like a floor plan that shows traffic flow, plumbing locations and clear dimensions, plus at least one alternative option if space allows. If you use AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or a similar drafting tool, please export both the native file and a clean PDF so I can hand the drawings straight to my contractor.
Acceptance criteria:
• Scaled 2D plan with the new bathtub placement, fixture sizes labelled and critical clearances noted.
• All walls, windows, doors and plumbing points accurately located.
• One annotated PDF ready for print and your editable source file.
If questions come up about local code or fixture specs, flag them early—I’m happy to supply any extra details you need. Looking forward to seeing how you can turn my cramped layout into a functional retreat.
