Experienced Draftsperson Wanted for WA Projects

Residential Draftsperson – Perth (WA) Projects | Remote / Overseas

We are seeking an experienced residential draftsperson to complete planning drawings and full working drawings for projects based in Perth, Western Australia.

This is a remote / overseas role with ongoing work for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare Planning (DA) drawings and Construction / Working Drawings
Residential projects including:
Single & double storey homes
Units / grouped dwellings
Additions & renovations
Granny flats / ancillary dwellings
Interpret and apply WA R-Codes
Independently research local council planning policies (WA LGAs)
Coordinate drawings to Australian standards
Revise drawings based on planner / consultant / council feedback
Essential Requirements
Strong, proven knowledge of WA R-Codes (this is non-negotiable)
Ability to independently search and interpret:
Local Planning Schemes
Local Planning Policies
Council websites & mapping tools
Experience with Australian residential documentation
High attention to detail and consistency
Reliable internet and availability for WA working hours overlap

Software

ArchiCAD preferred
Revit or AutoCAD considered if WA experience is strong
