2D Drafting for Industrial Machinery

Job ID: 40274064

Budget: $30 – $250 NZD

The job is to turn my current concept for an industrial machine into clear, fully-dimensioned 2D CAD drawings suitable for rapid prototyping. All work must stay strictly in the 2D drafting environment; no FEA or 3D work is required right now.

Scope
• Translate sketches, notes, and reference images into mechanical drawings that follow standard drafting conventions.
• Show every critical dimension, tolerance, and material call-out needed for a prototype build.
• Supply native CAD files (DWG or similar) plus print-ready PDFs.

I typically work in AutoCAD Mechanical, but SolidWorks Draft or similar packages are fine as long as you can deliver clean DWG/DXF files that open without errors.

Acceptance Criteria
• Each sheet prints at scale and passes a basic fit check with my laser-cut supplier.
• No missing dimensions or conflicting tolerances.
• File set includes title blocks, revision table, and a short drawing issue log.

Once the first draft is completed, I’ll review, mark up any changes, and we’ll cycle through a maximum of two revisions to reach final sign-off.
