Detailed Room Plan Creation

We are a small but growing refurbishment company based on the English / Scottish boarder. We are currently seeking a freelance designer to join us on a flexible ongoing basis.

Our long-time designer is due to retire, and we’re looking for someone who can step into their role to support us with creating 2D layout plans for our customers.

When meeting clients, we take measurements of their spaces and discuss ideas for refurbishment. We then provide these details to our designer, who uses CAD to create professional 2D layouts that show accurate room dimensions, minimal clear furniture placement and issued in a clean and easy to understand format to present to our clients.

This is a freelance remote role, ideal for someone who is looking for flexible work and enjoys creating creative designs. This is not a full-time position, it is ideal for someone looking for occasional work during evenings or in their spare time. For the right person this could become a long-term working relationship.

Requirements:
- Detailed layouts showing furniture placement.
- Accurate measurements included.
- Final plans delivered in PDF format.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in creating detailed room layouts.
- Experience with furniture arrangement and spatial design.
- Ability to deliver high-quality PDFs.
