2D Design of Solar-Powered Hoop House Structure

Job ID: 39880194

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

Generate a 2d drawing of the following structure situated in a grassy field.

A 32-ft long 20 ft wide semicircular hoop house with top rail spaced every 3 ft. Suspended from the rails of the hoop house place photovoltaic fabric covering the entire hoop house. Laying atop the rails, place transparent greenhouse fabric locked into place with wiggle wire on each rail.

The ends of the hoop house will have two extra angled arches angled at 60 and 30° from vertical and also covered with greenhouse film with solar fabric suspended below. Dropping down from the lowest Arch is a layer of greenhouse film and solar fabric attached to a ground rail.

In the middle of the 32 foot span of the hoop house, put two flat-roofed, 6x8 cube frames of 1 in metal tubing with a tube spacing of 16" across the top and bottom and sides. The two cubes should be placed parallel to the 32-ft length of the hoop house, one in front of the other, and each cube should be centered along the 20-foot width of the hoop House. Also center the two cubes along the 32 ft axis of the hoop house.

Make the roof of the cubes perfectly flat. Cover this roof with two other roofs attached to the sides of the 8-ft long sided of the cubes so that a pneumatic slide mechanism can slide out both of the side/roof-cover structures of the cubes to a full width of 18 ft in the middle of and sliding parallel to the 20 foot dimension of the hoop house. Depict one of these sliding structures halfway slid out. Leave the other of these sliding structures set on the original foundation of the 6x8 inner cubes.

Add telescoping supports every 4 ft along the sides of the 8-foot dimension of the inner cubes and along the 32 foot dimension of the hoop house that extend from the inner cube to the arched rails of the hoop house.

On the front and back end of the inner cubes put two hinged 6 feet wide overlapping gates spanning the entire width of the six feet end of the inner cubes that can swing out to the left and right for a full 18 ft across the end of the inner cubes. Depict one of these gates as halfway opened and the other gate as fully opened on each cube. Place the cubes along the 32-ft dimension of the hoop house with 8 ft between them and oriented so that you can see straight through all sets of gates.

Cover the sides and three roofs and all four gates of the inner cubes with hemp wool insulation and surround the cubes with hemp canvas.

Place squirrel cage misting fans along the sides of the inner 8-ft cubes blowing to the exterior of the cubes. Also place squirrel cage fans along the base edge of the hoop house blowing air between the solar fabric and the greenhouse film.

View these structures from the outside at an angle.
