Design Patent Illustrative Drawings
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a consumer product that is moving toward a design patent filing and I need a polished set of illustrative drawings to accompany the application. The drawings must be crystal-clear, high-resolution, and presentation-ready for the USPTO.
Scope
• Illustrative drawings only—no engineering dimensions or manufacturing call-outs.
• Purpose is strictly for a design patent application, so line weight, shading and consistency between views are critical.
• Views required: top, bottom, front, back, left side and right side (at least five final images—more if needed to show symmetry).
Deadline
The complete set has to arrive in my inbox within 3 calendar days of project start; I will be actively available for quick feedback rounds during that window.
Deliverables
– One PDF sheet per view at 300 dpi or higher
– Original source file (AI, PSD, or preferred drawing software) so I can make future tweaks if needed
– A brief note describing any conventions used (e.g., broken lines, shading style) to keep USPTO formatting consistent
Acceptance Criteria
1. All views align perfectly in scale and proportion.
2. No gradients, color, or unnecessary texture—clean black-and-white line art only.
3. File naming follows: ProductName_View.pdf (e.g., Widget_Top.pdf).
4. Final package passes USPTO size and margin requirements on first check.
I am ready to start as soon as I see a relevant portfolio piece or sample that matches this style. Fast, precise work will lead to additional illustration projects already in the pipeline.
