Design Brief: 2D AutoCAD Floor Plan for a Single-Level Minimalist Modern Home. Delivered in one month from now: Oct. 18, 2025.

Job ID: 39802338

Budget: $100 – $300 USD

Budget
The project budget is $300, and only a 2D AutoCAD floor plan is required—no 3D renderings, models, or elevations.

Overview
Create a 2D floor plan in AutoCAD (.dwg) format. The home will be built on a 750 m² plot, with a focus on indoor-outdoor flow, outdoor spatial privacy, and modern minimalist aesthetics. The final layout must prioritize wide-open spaces, a strong visual connection to greenery, and practical daily functionality for 1 resident and occasional guests. This home is intended as a ground-floor-only residence, with double-height ceilings, and must be optimized for comfort, efficiency, and environmental awareness.

Project Scope and Deliverables
• A 2D architectural floor plan only.
• Format: AutoCAD (.dwg).
• The plan must include:
o Accurate dimensions (metric scale) and room labels.
o Clear layout of all structural and spatial elements.
o Indication of access points, views, and utilities where relevant.

Design Priorities
• Wide indoor and outdoor spaces for openness and airiness.
• Complete privacy from neighbors.
• Strong visual connection to a lush garden from all major rooms.
• Modern, minimalist, and spacious design language.
• Double-height ceilings throughout the entire house.

Layout and Structural Features
General
• The entire home is located on a single floor (ground level only).
• Ceilings throughout the home must be double-height, and all structural elements (especially windows and lighting) must reflect this scale.
• The home and the garden are on the same level with no elevation difference.
• The layout should follow a parallel “11” configuration: one long side for the house, the other for the garden.

Interior Spaces
Bedrooms (2)
• Two identical master bedrooms, optional mirrored layout.
• Each bedroom includes:
o A king-size bed area.
o A walk-in closet (no window and with natural light via sunroofs).
o Master bathroom (described below).
o A panoramic garden view, a floor-to-ceiling window in the bedroom.
o Sliding door access to the garden directly from the bedroom.

Bathrooms (2) & Powder Room (1)
• Each bedroom has a private en-suite master bathroom with:
o Open layout (no partitions between shower, toilet, and tub).
o A bathtub and a separate shower box.
o Double sink with countertop space.
o Storage.
o A panoramic window to the garden using smart glass for privacy.
o No ventilation window and no garden access from the bathroom.
• In addition, the house includes a separate powder room (guest toilet) near the living/dining area.

Living / Dining / Kitchen
• A large open-concept space with a panoramic view of the garden, including:
o Living room with built-in gas fireplace
o Dining area (seating for up to 8 guests)
o Open full prep kitchen
o Another main, closed-concept kitchen, placed anywhere within the house as convenient, facing the rear landscaping.
o Gas cooking lines (outdoor access)
o Elevator access to the basement garage and staircase must connect the basement garage to the ground level, mezzanine, and roof.

Office / Multi-Purpose Room
• A separate, enclosed room (not integrated into an open living space).
• Must include:
o A garden view with direct access to the garden
o Space for 1–2 people (e.g., yoga trainer or meditation)

Laundry Room
• A dedicated laundry/drying/ironing room located near the bedrooms for easy access.

Utility & Maintenance Rooms (2)
• A dedicated maintenance room for garden equipment and utility systems (e.g., irrigation, pool pumps).
o Structurally part of the house, but with access only from the garden side, not from the interior.
• A second technical/utility room located in the mezzanine is required for:
o Heating and cooling systems (AC/Heater, possibly on the rooftop in an interior space)
o Internet
o Water heating
o Security and camera systems
o Electrical panels and smart systems
o Interior access

Outdoor Features
Garden
• Large, landscaped garden across from the house.
• Features must include:
o Tree-based shading only — no permanent structures.
o High green fence or wall around the garden for complete visual privacy.
o Integrated garden design that helps reduce overall temperature.

Pool & Water Features
• One swimming pool.
• Additional water features (e.g., shallow reflecting pools or channels) may be incorporated for aesthetic and cooling purposes.

Roof
• A green roof (planted).
• Access to the roof is for gardener/maintenance purposes only, either from inside or outside.
• The green roof must be designed for full automation (irrigation, lighting, etc.).

Garage & Vehicle Access
• Main parking layout:
o From the street, a gate leads to an open parking area in the garden for two small cars.
o This garden parking space must be visible from inside the house (security and aesthetic preference).
• Underground garage:
o Accessed by a drive-in ramp directly from the street.
o Located under the house and partially in the garden, it is designed to accommodate multiple cars.
o Must include EV charging stations (minimum two).
• A residential elevator and staircase must connect the basement garage to the ground level, mezzanine, and roof.

Windows & Lighting
• Floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows in:
o Bedrooms
o Living / Dining / Kitchen
o Office
• Window doors (sliding access) may be standard height.
• The windows should reflect the visual style shown in the Pinterest reference provided.
• Sunroofs (skylights) must be included in both walk-in closets, not intended for ventilation

Architectural Style
• Minimalist Modern
o Clean lines and geometry
o Use of natural light
o Uncluttered visual experience
o Indoor-outdoor integration
• The aesthetic must be consistent with the Pinterest reference board below.

Final Notes
• This project requires only a 2D floor plan in AutoCAD format (.dwg).
• No 3D modeling, renders, elevations, or presentation boards are required.
• All room measurements, functions, access points, views, ceiling heights, and privacy measures must be thoughtfully reflected in the floor plan.
