DXF From Two Photos
Budget: $85 – $90 USD
I have two JPEG reference photos that I’d like converted into a single, clean DXF ready for my CNC plasma table. The artwork should stay true to the images but be scaled proportionally so that the longest edge does not exceed 36 inches. I’m cutting from 14-gauge mild steel, so please keep kerf and minimum bridge widths in mind when you lay out the paths.
Deliverables
• One cut-ready DXF with all contours closed, no duplicate or overlapping lines, and paths optimized for plasma
• A quick screenshot or PDF proof so I can confirm the look and final size before cutting
Acceptance criteria: the DXF must open in SheetCAM without warnings, show continuous cut paths, and reflect the requested maximum dimension.
If you think a few small tweaks—like smoothing tight corners, adding a lead-in tab, or perhaps a discreet mounting hole—would improve the cut, let me know; I’m flexible as long as the original artwork remains recognizable.
That’s it. Once I sign off on the proof, please deliver the finished DXF and I’ll take it straight to the table.
