DXF Canvas Pouch Pattern
Budget: $30 – $250 NZD
I already have a canvas-drawn 2-D layout for a canvas pouch that will hold pens, snow-science tools and a small notebook. What I need now is a clean DXF file that my manufacturer can load directly into their system.
You will work from my illustration, copying the exact pocket arrangement shown—some pockets will remain standard stitched compartments while a few are simply elastic loops.
If you have an idea for how to improve the design for manufacturing, let me know first.
Essential in the final DXF:
• All overall dimensions and internal measurements called out in millimetres so the sewing team can cut the canvas without guessing.
• Separate layers (or clearly labelled line colours) for cut lines, fold lines and stitch lines, so the factory can toggle visibility as needed.
Once finished, send me:
1. A production-ready DXF file.
2. A quick PDF proof or screenshot so I can double-check scale before forwarding it to the shop.
That’s all—nothing fancy, just precision and a tidy file that matches my sketch.
