Convert Sketch to DWG Floorplan
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a hand-drawn sketch of a residential layout and need it turned into a clean, to-scale floorplan. The sketch already marks out the general arrangement of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living room, garage and the main outdoor areas; what I’m missing is a precise, professional drawing.
Here’s what I need from you:
• Draft the plan accurately in AutoCAD (or equivalent) and keep everything to true scale.
• Reflect every space shown—bedrooms, baths, kitchen, living, garage and exterior zones—using the proportions indicated in my sketch. Layouts will be up to you to provide for kitchen and baths. A basic electric plan must also be provided.
• Deliver the final .dwg file, ready for future edits, along with a PDF export for quick reference.
The sketch provides the overall layout, but most dimensions are approximate. If you see spots where exact measurements would tighten the drawing, flag them and I’ll confirm. Once the file is complete, I’ll do a quick check against the sketch; if minor tweaks are required, a single revision round is part of the job.
