Convert Lidar Scan to AutoCAD Survey
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I have a complete set of laser-scanning point-cloud files and now need a clean 2D survey drawing in AutoCAD. The drawing only has to capture the basic outlines of all visible topographical features and building footprints—no full labeling or heavy annotation, just clear, georeferenced linework that I can drop straight into my existing CAD workflow.
You’ll start from the supplied point cloud (LAS format) and extract the required geometry, organising it onto sensible layers so I can switch terrain and building information on or off as needed. Please keep the file size lean and ensure the origin and scale remain intact from the scan.
Deliverable: a single, tidy DWG that opens in vanilla AutoCAD 2020 without missing references or proxy objects.
