Convert JPG Plans to AutoCAD
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I have a house design saved only as a high-resolution JPG and need it redrawn from scratch in AutoCAD, then exported as a clean, 1:1-scale DXF. The finished file will be my master drawing for permits, so accuracy is critical.
Scope
• Recreate the full floor plan, all exterior elevations, and the primary building sections exactly as shown in the image.
• Set up my custom layering: dedicate one layer for walls and doors and another for furniture (I’ll share exact names and colour settings once we start). Everything else can remain on standard layers for now.
• Base the entire drawing on a reference dimension from the JPG so I can verify scale immediately after import.
Deliverable
• One DXF compatible with AutoCAD 2018 (model space only, no paperspace layouts required).
Acceptance
The project is complete when the DXF opens with layers correctly assigned, colours set ByLayer, and a plotted check dimension matches the reference within ±2 mm.
