Convert House Plan to CAD

I have a simple 2-D house sketch that I’d like rebuilt from scratch in AutoCAD as a clean, well-layered drawing. I’ll need your help confirming the final dimensions—only the overall footprint is fixed, so we can adjust internal measurements together to keep the plan practical and to scale.

Key points to cover
• Produce a fully editable .dwg, then export the finished drawing to PDF (the PDF set will be my official deliverable).
• Organise layers logically: walls, openings, dimensions, text, and a dedicated layer for the furniture layout I’ve requested.
• Insert standard door, window and furniture blocks so the plan reads clearly at 1:100 when printed.
• Use consistent line-weights, hatching for walls, and centrelines where appropriate so the PDF is construction-ready.
