Composite Deck Engineering Plans

Job ID: 40521769

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m ready to move from sketches to fully engineered drawings for a medium-sized composite deck (roughly 150–300 sq ft). While the structure will use composite boards, I want it to read visually as a traditional deck, so classic railing lines and post layouts should guide the design.

What I need:

• Stamped structural plans and framing details that satisfy my local building code and permitting office
• Footing, joist, beam, post, and ledger calculations sized for a composite surface load
• A concise materials list (lumber, hardware, fasteners, composite boards) with recommended specifications
• 2-D permit sheets in PDF plus editable CAD files (DWG or similar) for future tweaks
• Brief notes on any regional code assumptions you make so my inspector can follow your logic

I can supply a site sketch with house attachment points, slope, and setback constraints as soon as we start. Prefer AutoCAD, Revit, or similar mainstream software so the city reviewers recognize the format. Fast turn-around is appreciated; let me know your estimated timeframe and any questions you still need answered before drafting begins.
